Wedding at St Peters Tin Church Laragh Co Monaghan
What an incredible couple and location for this amazing wedding at St Peter’s Tin Church of Rebecca & David. A stunning gem of a little church practically in the middle of nowhere affectionately know just as the Tin Church Laragh. But first back to the start of the day which saw me photograph the bride and bridesmaids getting ready at the bride’s home in Carrickmacross. Lovely atmosphere when I arrived thanks to a super group of chilled out girls. Absolutely loved this part of the day before the church ceremony which was held in St Joseph’s church also in Carrickmacross. Lots of guests there to witness their marriage before everybody spilled out into the sunshine too congratulate the happy couple.
Rebecca and David had planned with me to go to St Peter’s Tin Church for their photos and I was really looking forward to this part as I knew how gorgeous it was. We arrived and it did not disappoint…
Beautiful light streaming in through the stained glass windows to a small dark interior. Outside despite the very strong sun was equally beautiful as with the mature trees surrounding the church providing some small amount of shade, I could use it as a backlight. We also went for a quick walk in a wooded area across the road to finish up the session. Then it was onto the Glaincairn Hotel in Castleblayney for the reception. I stayed to the dancing as usual. 🙂
