Beautiful warm October sunshine made an appearance for the wedding at Cliff at Lyons of Swords couple Debbie & Derek at Cliff at Lyons (formally known as Village at Lyons) just outside Celbridge, Co Kildare.
Autumn Wedding at Cliff at Lyons, Kildare
This amazing wedding venue is stunning even on a grey day but when the sun is present against a blue sky with the soft October sunlight, it becomes extra special. Debbie & Derek wanted a really special location for their guests on their day and together with the incredible amount of planning and detail provided by Edel of Vintage Affair they really achieved their goal…!
Debbie had her bridal preparations take place at her home in Swords along with her 4 bridesmaids and her mum. Chilled out was the order of the day here – I don’t think there was any moment where stress appeared. Fantastic…!!
The Ceremony
After a very touching moment when Debbie appeared down the stairs into the arms of her dad, it was off to Cliff at Lyons for the ceremony.
By the time I arrived, guests were already outside enjoying pre-ceremony chat with Derek. Debbie arrived in a fab vintage Bentley and the ceremony soon got underway. Afterwards the congratulations, hugs n’ kisses took place outside Dovetail Cottage beside the beautiful lake where drinks were also served up. And so it continued with most of the guests outside in the sun for the rest of the afternoon. We did a quick walk around the village for some photos with a few minutes spent in the Mill house for portraits. Dinner and speeches and then my time came to an end unfortunately.
I just love this venue and both Debbie & Derek were just the nicest couple possible to work with for their wedding at cliff at lyons. Thanks so much for making my day and very best wishes for the future.
