Amanda & Alex from Canada used to live in Ireland but after returning to their native Canada, they popped back for a quick visit and a Trim Castle couple shoot.
Trim Castle Couple Shoot
It was one of those lovely mornings in April with clear blue skies and a heavy dew on the ground. As I was driving to Trim Castle I was thinking Oh yes, this is going to be perfect…! After meeting Amanda & Alex in the nearby Trim Castle Hotel, we kicked things off by walking across the road to the castle. This couple were so easy and lovely to work with. Being so early in the morning, we practically had the place to ourselves. After rambling around the castle for about an hour and stopping off at various locations for some photos, we jumped in our cars and headed a few minutes down the road to The Priory of St John The Baptist. This is an old ruined abbey popular for photoshoots especially wedding photography. It was aperfect way to end our engagement shoot by incorporating scenes with some ancient Irish architecture.
Thank’s so much to Amanda & Alex for choosing me to be their engagement photographer whilst staying in Ireland. Had a fab time working with them both.
If you’re looking for a photographer whilst on your Irish holiday, please get in touch and I’d be delighted to schedule a shoot for you in a location of your choice.
