Destination Wedding Photographer in The Netherlands – Patricia & Frank
South America meets Europe in this wedding of Patricia born in Peru and Frank from Switzerland held at the Kasteel De Wittenburg. This was a truly multi-cultural wedding with many guests travelling from various countries to help Patricia & Frank celebrate in style. I always love foreign weddings where there are UK guests and as an additional treat some Irish guests too for me to say hello to. The ceremony was in English too which yours truly appreciated very much…!
This was one of those chilled out weddings where guests could enjoy the outdoors and the great weather with a cold beer. There were some really lovely moments during the day such as the emotional ceremony and speeches but what topped it for a lot of the guests (and me…) was the dancing. Patricia and her sisters and brother who travelled from Peru are incredible performers. They put on a dancing show after the first dance were most of us just looked on from the sidelines in envy. Poor Frank had to take dancing lessons in advance of the wedding to try and keep up. And they paid off. His first dance with his new bride was expertly manoeuvred with not a step out of place – well not that I noticed anyway…!
Then as an additional bonus, everybody was invited onto the floor for some dancing classes. Absolutely brilliant. Now I’ve got two left feet but even I wanted to ditch my cameras and get on the floor it was so good. I stayed to photograph the dancing for about an hour at the request of the bride & groom and ended up with loads of fantastic dancing shots. Can’t show them all here so as usual I’m showing a small selection of photographs from this great wedding.
