Holly (Texas, USA) and Diego (Spain) jetted into Dublin for a few days last month and I was lucky to grab a short time with them to take a walk around Dublin one evening for their engagement shoot. Despite this being Diego’s first ever photoshoot, both Holly and Diego were great to work with – so comfortable with each other and in front of the camera. With the minimum of direction from me, I just popped them into different locations and let them at it so their photographs have a really natural feel to them. Some fantastic light and great locations made this a super session that just flew by for all of us. We used Merrion Green which aside from being gorgeous, is normally fairly quiet. Just outside the park examples of Dublin’s famous architecture are in abundance so needless to say, we took advantage. Holly and Diego have also asked me to photograph their wedding next year and am so looking forward to working with them on their big day in their amazing venue. Yay…!!
