Destination weddings are back on my agenda for 2018 and future years so no better way to start than with a beautiful engagement shoot in Nairobi Kenya.

Wangui and Kama are a local couple getting married in 2019 and it was a pleasure to spend some time with them at the African Heritage House outside Nairobi for their engagement photoshoot. Firstly this was an absolute beautiful venue nestled into the savannah away from a busy highway leading to Mombassa.
An absolute ocean of tranquility in an amazing setting. It’s really popular for private events including weddings where ceremonies are frequently held outside under the ‘wedding ‘tree’. So an amazing location for a local or a destination wedding for anybody thinking of getting married in Nairobi, Kenya. However, I also had an equally amazing couple.
Wangui and Kama are right up there in my top ten of chilled out couples who are completely comfortable with each other. So much so, I hardly had to give them any direction – I just let them be themselves. Easy to tell from their gorgeous photos.
Had an absolute brilliant time photographing in this beautiful exotic location and it is always even better when I get a great couple to photograph. A huge thanks to Wangui and Kama and the very best wishes for your future together.
