Clara & Tommie chose to have a Brooklodge wedding at Macreddin Village in Wicklow. The Brooklodge is one of the leading wedding venues in Wicklow and is a favourite amongst Wicklow and Dublin wedding photographers. It’s beautiful grounds with a bubbling brook running through a small forest by a church is irresistible for many couples and offers great opportunities for capturing amazing wedding photographs.
Brooklodge Wedding of Clara & Tommie
Early April saw in the wedding of Clara & Tommie in the Brooklodge in Macreddin Village, Wicklow. I first met Clara & Tommie back in 2012 and we immediately clicked (forgive the pun). I realised back then that Clara was one of those personalities that was permanently and genuinely happy!! However, on her wedding day, I don’t think I’ve come across a bride that laughed so much throughout the whole day. She was brilliant in every way – absolutely perfect bride. Weddings are always happy events but wow was this one special one to be present at….! I loved every minute….
Despite a gloomy start to the day the weather picked up and turned out perfect. The ceremony was held in the nearby parish of Aughrim and then back to the lovely Brooklodge Hotel for the reception and of course some photos.
Clara & Tommie were a genuine joy to be around and work for and Clara’s infectious laughter rubbed off on all of us (and still does….!) 🙂
