Stephanie and Ian after rescheduling and rescheduling finally got to proceed with their fab wedding at the Powerscourt Distillery last September.
Wedding at the Powerscourt Distillery
Like many other weddings during 2020 and 2021, it seemed like it may never happen. But eventually Stephanie & Ian’s day did come around. It was going to be a smaller affair and at a different venue than originally planned but who cares..! I didn’t get to cover Ian’s preparations but Stephanie and the girls were getting ready at the lovely 5 star Powerscourt Hotel. All was going smoothly when I arrived and everybody was in great form. This meant that Stephanie was bang on time for her civil ceremony at the distillery.
Again my work is largely documentary but Stephanie and Ian were interested in a few photos in the distillery itself and also along by the river walk. So off we went to a spot that they liked after the ceremony as their guests departed to the reception. With the infamous sugarloaf as a backdrop we spent a few minutes in a field before it was time to proceed to the reception.
This was an incredibly chilled and enjoyable wedding thanks to the efforts of the bride and groom and their families. The smaller guest numbers helped too and I know that Stephanie and Ian had the most fantastic day ever.
Thanks for choosing me guys to shoot your wedding. It was great to see some previous clients of mine as guests there also. 🙂
