Wedding at No. 25 Fitzwilliam Place
I arrive at the picturesque Georgian townhouse in the heart of Dublin city centre. Like each time before, I’m feeling dam excited to work here.
No. 25 Fitzwilliam Place is an intimate wedding venue oozing with character and charm, the perfect backdrop for an elegant celebration.
Choosing the right venue is one of the most important decisions you’ll make when planning your wedding. It’s not just about finding somewhere beautiful, it’s also about making sure that the venue reflects who you are as a couple and what kind of wedding you want to have.
Your venue should reflect both your personalities and style; if it doesn’t, then it won’t feel like home on the big day! You want guests to feel comfortable in their surroundings so they can relax and enjoy themselves during this special time with friends and family.
The best way to do this is by choosing a location where everyone feels at ease – whether they’re inside or outside on an open terrace overlooking Dublin city centre!

No. 25 Fitzwilliam Place is a hidden gem in Dublin. It’s a beautiful venue with a lot of history, it’s a great place to have an intimate wedding and it can also accommodate small weddings. I have been lucky enough to photograph at many amazing venues around Ireland but this one stands out among them all!
The staff at No 25 are so helpful and friendly from the minute you book your date until after the wedding day itself! They will do everything they can to make sure your day runs smoothly, so you can relax and enjoy every moment of your special day knowing that everything else is taken care off by them!
Photographing a Wedding at No. 25 Fitzwilliam Place
Photographing Cliona and Nicholas’ wedding at the stunning No. 25 Fitzwilliam Place in Dublin was an absolute joy!
- Capturing Cliona as she got ready in a suite at the close-by Wilder Townhouse was a highlight. The atmosphere in the room was electric but calm – if that makes sense..!!
- Nicholas and his groomsmen were all smiles and laughter as they got ready at Nicholas’ parents house. The bride and groom wanted elements of both preps covered so we made it work.
- The ceremony space with its marble fireplace and opulent chandeliers is a photographer’s dream. Emotions ran high as the couple exchanged heartfelt vows before their closest friends and family.
- After the ceremony, the light streamed through the windows as guests mingled, laughed and embraced the newlyweds. Pure magic!
- Loads of photo opportunities are on your doorstep from No 25. Cliona, Nicholas and I went for a walk around the block for their couple photographs. It took about 25 minutes and encompassed a variety of backdrops to use.
- By the time we got back to No 25, their families were ready for a few family photos on the steps by the front door – a perfect spot.
- Did I mention the brilliant staff there…? Not only did Mark give us access to the rooftop for a few photos of the bride and groom, but he and others helped me with setting up all the guests outside for a group shot captured by me from one of the top floor windows. It was a shot that Cliona really wanted.
- Capturing those intimate moments between Cliona and Nicholas was a joy. As their wedding photographer, I tried to blend into the background at No. 25 Fitzwilliam Place, watching for exchanges and tender touches when they thought no one was looking.
- My favourite photos are the unposed, natural shots. A quick kiss on the cheek when passing by, fingers intertwined under the table during speeches. These little glimpses into their emotional connection made for authentic images they will cherish for years to come.
