We’ll be dressing the dogs too…!! That was one of the first things that I learned about this fab wedding from summer 2018. Kate and Fergus two dogs were VIP’s and would have to dress for the occasion. And thus the vibe was set for a fantastically friendly relaxed wedding.

Aside from the dogs, Kate and Fergus did have two other VIP’s – their two little daughters who were also beautifully dressed for the occasion. Both bride and groom wanted their photography to be fully documentary style for the day. They just wanted to sit back, have no constraints and really have quality time with their guests. And so it was… I started with the preparations that morning. Fergus was getting ready close by which meant that I was able to pop over the him for a short while before heading to Kate who was getting ready in the family home along with the bridesmaids and those two beautiful daughters. And the dogs..!
Fergus arrived soon after as they wanted a first look in the house before they departed for the church. Fergus and the 2 girls waited at the bottom of the stairs until Kate made her appearance looking amazing. After an emotional family hug we did a few family photos and then it was ceremony time and onto the church.
Virginia Park Lodge was the perfect setting for their laid back wedding. Beautiful venue with excellent service and food by Richard Corrigan and his team. The bride and groom spent most of their time greeting and chatting to guests for the afternoon. We did have time for a few quick family & bridal party photos – the only staged photos of the day – before the dinner bell sounded and it was time to eat.
