Outdoor Gay Wedding at Radisson Blu St Helens
This turned out to be an absolute beautiful warm sunny day perfectly paired with the gorgeous setting in the gardens at the Radisson Blu St Helens. They always hoped for an outdoor ceremony and they got it. Both grooms currently live in the UK with Will originally from Cork and Guy from England. So a lot of English wedding guests for their celebration. I started with the guys as they were getting ready – the calm before the storm..!
The Ceremony
As always with a wedding, there was a lovely vibe in the air and with just a short walk from their room to the hotel garden for the ceremony, it started as soon as all the guests had taken their seats. Accompanied my flower girls, bridesmaids and Guy’s mum, the lads made it to the ceremony to exchange their vows. As you would imagine guests had a terrific time afterwards lounging in the sun enjoying drinks and canapés.
As the lads didn’t want to be away from their guests for too long, we spent a short time walking around the grounds taking some photos with them. Then we launched into the formal family photos. After that it was back to drinks before dinner bell sounded.
This was a lovely chilled out day in a beautiful venue. It was pleasure to work with two great grounded guys who just wanted to chill and have a great time without photography getting in their way.
