Clonabreany House Wedding
Judith’s sister is an old friend of mine and I was thrilled to be chosen as the photographer for this wedding. Clonabreany House is one of those gems that is tucked away in the corner of the countryside but ideally placed close to the motorway for easy access. Despite being a winter wedding, it was a gorgeous day especially during the morning when we had beautiful winter sunlight. All the preparations were in Dublin so I started off with the Andrew and the lads for a short while. I then continued onto the girls who were 5 minutes away. Everything soooo relaxed and calm – it was great. Although, Judith’s cat didn’t think so and kept well out of the way..!
The ceremony was held in the lovely and bright Church of the Assumption in Ballinlough. Ideally, this is very close to Clonabreany and popular for weddings. Most guests had travelled from Dublin and were ready to party. With the bride arriving exactly on time the ceremony had commenced and was over in no time. So straight to Clonabreany House where we launched straight into photos. We started with the bride and groom before taking some family photos outside the main house.
Loads of time then to mingle with guests before the dinner bell sounded. With speeches kept at just the right length to prevent guests getting bored it was time for the dancing to start. We ended this wedding with a few photos along the lovely illuminated driveway of Clonabreany before I called it a day.
Judith and Andrew were genuinely one of the most relaxed couples to work with. They planned their day really well and it paid dividends. Nothing went wrong and everybody had a fantastic time. Thanks a mill to these two for choosing me to be their wedding photographer. I had a great time and we got some fantastic memories for these guys to treasure.
