Here’s a lovely intimate Dublin city wedding from last summer when Ruth & Shane tied the knot.
So first up (well after the bride and groom preps) was a first look in Marlay park. This is a place that meant a lot to Ruth & Shane and they spend a lot of time there especially at weekends for walks.
I’ve had first looks here before and it has some lovely locations that are perfect for a couple looking for a little bit of privacy in a nice setting. So I headed off and I set Shane up a little in advance of Ruth and when she arrived I led her to the spot and let the magic happen. 🙂
Always an emotional moment…!! If you want more info on possibly doing a first look for your own wedding check out this blog – https://djd.ie/the-first-look/
We had a short while to spare for some photos before having to dash into the city to the Registry Office to make it all legal. Ruth and Shane had Pichet Restaurant booked for their reception. If Marlay park was fairly private for their first look, then a walk down Grafton Street with their wedding party was the polar opposite. Bride and groom in full wedding attire on one of Dublin’s busiest streets at lunchtime is an attention grabber…! Blushes aside, eventually we made it to Pichet where the party quickly got into full swing.
Here are some shots which quickly tell Ruth & Shane’s wedding story.
Intimate Dublin city wedding
Thanks so much to Ruth & Shane for choosing me to be their wedding photographer for their intimate Dublin city wedding. Genuinely a lovely couple who were so easy to work with.
