Autumn Wedding at Powerscourt House and Gardens

What a day for a beautiful autumn wedding at Powerscourt House and Gardens for O&C.

An amazing autumn wedding at Powerscourt House and Gardens. What proper wedding doesn’t start with an early morning dip at the 40 foot..? Well this one certainly did with Cormac our groom for the day jumping in with his son Joseph. Daughter Pippa came along for moral support. Quickly refreshed, it was straight to the Powerscourt Hotel where the preps had already started with Orla and the bridesmaids getting pampered.

Powerscourt House & Gardens is always a joy to work in and particularly when the weather is so gorgeous. Cormac and Orla were having a civil ceremony in the House amongst a large number of family and friends. As everybody arrived they gathered outside before being ushered in to their seats in time for Orla to make her appearance.

After a lovely ceremony and the I do’s were said, it was into reception time where congratulations were exchanged, canapés and drinks were served whilst Orla and Cormac mingled with their guests. It was also time for their bride and groom pics so off we went along with the amazing Edithouse Videographers for a quick walk around the gardens. You are spoilt for choice in this wedding venue and time is never on your side but we got our shots and headed back to the House for the more formal family photos. A bit more mingling with guests and it was dinner bell.

As always the ballroom looked amazing thanks in no small part to the talented team in Powerscourt. It’s a spectacular indoor setting which completely compliments the aesthetic beauty of the outside grounds of this amazing high-end wedding venue in Wicklow.

After the speeches it was party time with music provided by the brilliant 80’s band Spring Break.
